ABOUT ME
I have over 30 years of experience, working as Specialist Chartered Physiotherapist. In the NHS working in mental health and women’s health I was able to add acupuncture to my tool kit. I completed my post graduate qualification to practice Acupuncture with the British Medical Acupuncture Society and gained further qualifications with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists.I have completed numerous postgraduate acupuncture courses, continually adding to my skill set and applying them in my clinical practice.
Having taught mindfulness and anxiety/stress management individually and to groups within the NHS I advocate applying acupuncture in an integrated way to improve the health and wellbeing outcomes for women.
I have a love of the great outdoors, especially in relation to mood, movement, immunity.
My core values within my work are:
compassion (helping in a meaningful way)
empathy (to connect on a deeper level)
kindness
gratitude ( developing a mindset of abundance)
spirituality ( promoting the connection of mind and body and appreciating the world you find yourself in )
